The White Mountains are a mountain range covering about a quarter of the state of New Hampshire and a small portion of western Maine in the United States. They are part of the northern Appalachian Mountains and the most rugged mountains in New England. The range is heavily visited due to its proximity to Boston and, to a lesser extent, New York City and Montreal. And in the heart of the White Mountains is a little town called Bethlehem which Bethlehem, hillside town in Grafton County New Hampshire. The population was 2,526 at the 2010 census. It is home to Cushman and Strawberry Hill state forests. The eastern half of the town is within the White Mountain National Forest. The Appalachian Trail crosses in the south.
And in the heart of Bethlehem is a hidden treasure – the Arlington Hotel. A brand new luxury New Hampshire Hotel in the White Mountains.
The Arlington Hotel is ranked number one on Trip Advisor. And the rave reviews are completely true. From the spectacular modern lobby to the hanging fireplaces to the circular bar and the quaint courtyard. The rooms are modern and clean with all the amenities including rain showers and suites at very affordable prices. But a hotel experience is only as good as its people and I had the pleasure of spending time with Jerry from the Bronx and Amanda from Arizona. Jerry is a natural entertainer who makes a wicked dirty martini and is there to serve the customers keeping the bar open a little later than usual for the late arrivals. Amanda is a stellar pastry chef whose kokosh cake which is formed by rolling dough with a chocolate filling and was one of the best pastries I have ever eaten in my life. But the best part of the Arlington Hotel is that it offers a fully kosher experience for all palates.
The Arlington Hotel – a luxury New Hampshire Hotel in the White Mountains. Come for the scenery and stay for the experience.
