Thoughts on Life

One of my favorite quotes is ” in order to succeed, you must double your failures ” This quote was stated by Thomas Watson Jr. who was the founder of IBM. And mistakes are the tools that occur so that we can learn lessons and improve our lives. It’s ok to make mistakes because if you don’t, you’re probably not making progress. No one is perfect, except perhaps my late father. I have personally made more mistakes than the average person. But the key is to learn from the mistake and not repeat it.

Ulrich Leonard Tölle was born on February 16, 1948) is a German-born resident of Canada. He is best known as the author of The Power of Now and A New Earth: Awakening to your Life’s Purpose. In 2008, a New York Times writer called Tolle “the most popular spiritual author in the United States”. In 2011, he was listed by Watkins Review as the most spiritually influential person in the world. Tolle is not identified with any particular religion, but he has been influenced by a wide range of spiritual works.

The quote is simple. Your life is now means it’s not what happened in the past or what may happen in the future. It is what is happening now. TODAY. So enjoy the day and make it as good as you can.

Loyalty is not a two way street although it should be. Loyalty is critical in relationships, business and friendships. Its the essence of trust and the ultimate display of dependability and faithfulness.

You know the old expression, ” actions speak louder than words ” Well it is true. Anyone can talk about their goals or accomplishments or their plans, however, it’s all in the execution.

Enjoy the day and if you enjoy these posts please follow me. And conversely if you do not want to receive them just say so.
