Saturday Morning Thoughts

Dr Wayne Dyer was an American philosopher, self help author and mtivational speaker. This quote represents the difference between those who are living a life that is true to their purpose and those who are just living a life. The good news is that we can change our life and ultimately our destiny. We have all felt stuck at certain points in our lives, however, we have the innate abiliy to change our circumstances. Are you stuck or are you doing what is congruent with your personal mission.

Think about this one for a moment. It is a quote by Jim Rohn. He grew up on a farm and eventually became an American entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker. Who are the five people in your life that you spend the most time with? Are they enhancing your life or making it more difficult? You can count them on one hand so make sure that they are both positive and open minded.

My psychologist once told me this and I never forgot her words. At some point, you have to make a decision that you are struggling with. Just do it. And stick to your  guns. Whether you are right or wrong, you have to make a choice and follow a path otherwise you will be stuck and being stuck is worse than forging ahead.

Despite the fact that we feel that all problems can be solved, the opposite is true. We struggle to solve challenges in life where the reality dictates that the problem is the reality. Think about it. I have experienced this in my life where I tried very hard to solve a problem and realized that I had to accept the reality. I can’t change someone who is a workaholic nor can I help someone who is not making am effort to fix their problems.
