I think we all consider this at times in our lives. So what does it mean? And what should we do with this knowledge? We must consider the fact that everyone feels this way at some time throughout their lives. Although it’s easier said than done, the answer lies in how we react to all the shit that we’ve been through. I think we all have momemts when we want to wallow in our sorrows But we also realize that this will not help us move forward in a positive direction.
It’s ok to feel like the glass is half empty. Too much of modern self help will support that you must think positively at all times and you must consider that the glass is half full. But is that real? Wouldn’t it be better to accept the fact that there are times in our lives when we don’t feel happy and positive. Accept the reality and go with the flow. The glass won’t be half empty forever.
Patience is an elusive concept for most. Just try being calm when you’re driving in Montreal during the winter. It’s not easy. Patience is an elusive concept to me and my mother has always told that ” patience is a virtue, possess it if you can, it’s always in a woman and never in a man ”
At the end of the day, life is all about your perception and your reaction. It’s not what happens on a daily basis or the major challenges that you face, it’s about how you perceive them and how you react to them. Is it a good idea to seek revenge or is it negative energy? Is it a good idea to seek justice if you’ve been wronged or is it better to walk away?
