After 5 years of blogging I decided that it was time to write a book based on 37 years of sales experience. The book is contrarian in nature as it goes against the stereotype of sales people.
Consider the title and you will wonder about the logic behind it. The bottom line is that sales is more about listening than talking and when you listen to customers, the needs and wants will be revealed.
Integrity is another critical part of being successful in sales and without honesty, you have no long term future in the industry.
The number of shy successful individuals is incredible and includes Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffet, Rosa Parks, Bill Gates and more.
And if you don’t think you’re in sales, you are sadly mistaken. Everyone is in sales including parents, dentists, teachers, and so on.
