My doctor once told me that if you manage to make it through a depression, you will emerge with a stronger character. The struggle prepares you for life which is sometimes in and of itself a struggle. The best advice that I was given my an eminent psychologist by the name of Dr Lorraine Merriott was to learn to accept the situation and fo with the flow. Easier said than done. But at the end of the day, absolutely true.
If you have suffered from depression, there is a feeling that you have wasted a lot of time worrying and not being productive. So when you are feeling good, seize the moment and live your dreams. Taking risks is also an integral part of living your dreams. No risk, no reward. Life involves taking risks, sometimes you have to roll the dice. Make a decision and don’t look back.
And don’t worry about what other people think. Do you think that Ray Croc’s wife was thrilled that he bought a hamburger joint from the McDonald brothers at the age of 52? And Colonel Sanders starting to framchise KFC at the ripe old age of 62. Lesson learned – just do it
The successful entrepreneurs followed their passions. Did it make logical sense? Not necessarily. But it worked because they put their heart and soul into it. Do what makes you happy and the money will follow. Amd in this day and age, you can create anything online and become a tremendous success.
