The Shy Sales Guy

So I wrote a book about sales called ” The Shy Sales Guy ” and thought it would be best to reorient my blog exclusively to sales and storytelling in the sales arena. After 38 years of selling radio advertising and funeral pre-arrangements, it’s time share my knowledge and experience. If you are interested, the book is available on both Amazon and Kindle.

Nothing happens until a sale is made and whether or not you realize it, we are all in sales in one way, shape or form. What do you call a lawyer / attorney who can sell? A partner.

According to Ron Willingham and Integrity Selling, there are 6 steps in the sales process. In subsequent blogs, we will examine the 6 steps. Suffice it to say, you must follow the steps in order to make the sale.

The steps are

  1. Approach
  2. Interview
  3. Demonstrate
  4. Validate
  5. Negotiate
  6. Close

Starting next week, we will examine the approach step.
